WildWood Oak Fired Kitchen is a locally owned and operated establishment with David K. Wachtel III and Justin D. Tatum as proprietors.
WildWood Oak Fired Kitchen is a restaurant that features modern americana cuisine; opened at the end of August in 2007. Our focus is to provide fine dining in a casual, upscale bistro atmosphere. As a neighborhood bistro which only serves dinner, our menu is arranged by the chef, using ingredients and products found locally; including fresh seafood and quality meats cut in-house. This results in the type of fare that shows comfortable creativity mixed with an eclectic range of cultural flavors.
We feature an open area kitchen providing a more intimate cooking atmosphere. Our dining room has comfortable seating in a relaxed and inviting setting surrounded by artwork from a local gallery. We use a wood burning grill and oven fueled by freshly cut wood to help provide our unique and tantalizing flavor.
Our wine menu features hand-picked selections from boutique wineries as well as many well-known varietals. Wines are served by the glass and some are served by bottle. We also have a full bar and a menu of beers.
We do not accept reservations but we do accept call-ahead seating for parties of 8 or more .
We have a children's menu as well as delicious options for vegetarians.
